Studio shoot with Corena

Did a studio shoot with Corena. She's so cute and full of energy. I swear she totally wore me out during the shoot!

I'm gonna start with a few of the more conventional photos. We'll get to more fun and colorful photos in the next post. :D

All of these photos were taken with natural light of the studio space.

Beauty Shoot with Sarah

My friend Sarah has this stunning blonde hair. But she said she was gonna chop it off! Nooooo!

So I convinced her to do a beauty shoot with me before she did. Good thing too, her appointment is next week. LOL

It also gave me a chance to try a few different lighting techniques and I think the results turned out wonderfully!

Also, before anyone asks, the "blur" is not Photoshop. I was using my Canon 50mm/f1.2L lens. That gives crazy thin depth of field. There's actually a few shots where the focus "missed" and the eyes are not in focus, but say an ear is. >_< It's an awesome lens, but you gotta be super careful with the focus when it's that wide open.

Updating my fashion gallery a bit with the lovely photos of Melody. I dunno why it took me this long to add her photos. The photos turned out amazing! It was just a perfect day in Downtown San Jose and the light and sky were just perfect for this shoot.

I've been poking around a lot with web stuff late. Mostly because of my new web site. But it's also fun learning about all the latest web technologies. Here's a video about when I was setting up my new splash page.

Family Portraits Gallery

My co-worker James and his wife were nice enough to have me in their home so that I could get some experience shooting family portraits with their son and newborn.

So cute! OMG. LOL

Check out the photos, I have to admit, it was definitely different then many of the other shoots I've been on before, but it was great capturing a slice of the family.

New swimwear gallery

Maybe it's the fact that summer is gone? But I went ahead and put up a few photos from my previous beach and swimsuit photo shoots, into a new swimwear section.

Although it's really difficult shooting at the beach sometimes, man the results are gorgeous and a lot of fun! :) Gotta remember to shoot more next summer! :D
